Do you offer a free trial or pilot?

Yes, we offer a self-serve trial for small teams and guided pilots for portfolios. Trials include core features, sample PPM templates, and onboarding checklists.

How do I set up my first site and enable QR reporting?

Create your Site → Buildings/Locations, add the relevant categories, and print the auto-generated QR labels. Place labels in key areas; when a fault’s scanned, it lands in your central queue with location + photos.

How do I track progress and stay compliant?

Use the Central Maintenance Dashboard to see all open/overdue work by status, priority, and location. Every ticket stores a complete audit history (checks, certifications, timestamps) so you’re inspection-ready.

What do I need before I start?

Have a basic list of sites/buildings/areas, your team emails, and the categories you use (e.g., electrical, plumbing). That’s enough to launch a pilot and start logging fault reports within minutes.

What is a property maintenance software and how does FaultFixers fit?

A Property maintenance software (often a CMMS/CAFM) centralises  how you log, assign, schedule, and track maintenance across buildings and assets. FaultFixers replaces spreadsheets and email with digital workflows, keeps a full audit history for compliance, and gives teams real-time visibility of status, priority, and location.

Can we add or remove users or cancel, and what happens to our data?

You can change seats or cancel at any time. You can export your data during a defined retention window.

Do you offer a trial?

Yes, a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. We help you get set up.

How does billing work?

You can pay monthly or annually. Annual billing costs less overall. Reporter users are free. Billing applies to the Maintenance Teams app.

What plans does FaultFixers offer and who are they for?

We offer Starter, Professional, and Enterprise plans. Starter suits small teams. Professional adds PPM and asset tools for busy operations. Enterprise is for multi-site estates that need advanced controls.

What’s included in each plan?

All plans include QR fault reporting, central job management, checklists, notifications, time and cost tracking, dashboards, and a full audit history. Higher tiers add PPM matrix, Steps, asset QR tagging, and admin controls.

Do you support secure sign-in options like MFA and SSO?

Yes, SSO is supported via integration with approved third-party identity providers.

Is FaultFixers compliant with any security standards or certifications?

Who owns our data and how can we export it?

You own your data. You can export records on demand from the app or request a complete export from our team.

Can we run a pilot at one site before rolling out?

Yes. Start with a single site to validate workflows and reporting, then scale to the rest of your estate.

Do you offer guided onboarding or can we self-serve?

Both. Use our quick-start checklists for the self-service option, or choose guided onboarding with a dedicated specialist to help you with imports.

How long does implementation take and what are the key steps?

Most teams go live within 1-2 weeks. Large rollouts follow a short plan covering data import, workflows, and training. For a single user or single site, you can be live the same day.

What support do we get?

You get access to our help resources and direct support during business hours. For the professional and enterprise plans, you also get a dedicated customer success manager handling your account.
